Lucy Engelman portrait

Since her childhood, drawing has provided Lucy with language where words fail. Her work has been described as having a strong sense of empathy and mindfully considered detail.

Lucy has extensive experience in editorial, pattern design, way-finding, marketing and branding and product illustration applications but book illustration is where her heart lives. She often provides design direction for her projects as well. Through illustration, Lucy strives to celebrate the bits of unbridled joy and curiosity of everyday life.
